We fit a lot of electric gates. Most people want them after they’ve spent a winter getting soaked opening gates, or they’re fed up with delivery drivers leaving the gate open.

Fire Escapes

We fit external fire escapes for commercial buildings – usually steel staircases with proper landings and anti-slip treads. All galvanised because they’re outside year-round, and we handle the building control certification side of things.

GLASS & STAINLESS

Glass and stainless balustrades have got really popular. They look modern and you get the view – don’t block anything like traditional railings do. We fit them on balconies, staircases, decking areas.

Railings are what we do most. Thousands of metres over the years – Victorian stuff on terraced houses, modern security railings for businesses, everything really.

Front gates are important because they are the first thing people see. You want something that looks right and works properly. Opens smoothly, closed correctly, and won’t sag after six months. We can match existing railings or design something new.

Juliet balconies have got popular, especially on loft conversions. They’re basically a safety barrier outside upstairs windows or doors. You get the light and the opening without needing a full balcony sticking out.

Commercial gates are bigger, heavier, and tougher. They are designed to handle constant everyday use and do not wear out after just a few months. We have fitted commercial gates for schools, factories, yards, and all types of businesses.

Even with budget friendly automation becoming readily available, manual gates are still in demand. They are simple on all fronts. They are built to last. We install manual gates for people who appreciate the positive attributes of gates, without the complexity and expense of automation.

Bespoke

If you’ve got something specific in mind that doesn’t fit standard designs, we’ll make it. We’ve done one-off gates with custom patterns, unusual sizes for awkward openings, replica work to match existing period metalwork – just tell us what you need and we’ll sort it.
